MLK Day, January 19, 2026

Next Monday is our annual holiday celebrating the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. As we approach the day I've been thinking about some of the amazing contributions he made to our civil discourse and practical Christian theology. His book Strength to Love is one of my goto books when studying deeper on love, forgiveness and grace.

I believe that prayer is an important exercise in developing what Dr. King called a "capacity to forgive" in Strength to Love. As I was thinking of Dr. King I remembered an exercise I created some time back about reflecting on and increasing our capacity to forgive. In honor of his day I've updated it and reworked it to share with you.

I'll drop that graphic below for your prayerful consideration along with two PDF's for printing, one with one image and one with two images.

Be blessed, Rev. Todd
