In the name of God:
Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer. Amen.

Declaration of Gratitude: Psalm 136:1-3*

“Give thanks to the Holy One who is good,

for God’s mercy endures for ever.

Give thanks to the God of gods,

for God’s mercy endures for ever.

Give thanks to the Ruler of rulers,

for God’s mercy endures for ever.”

A Renewal of Trust

based on Psalm 37:3
God, I give my trust to you

and I ask you to lead me

into opportunities to do good

for the world around me.

Praying Like Jesus

based on Matthew 6:9-13

God of heaven and earth

and all that is:

I honor you and

I commit myself to you.

I will follow your Way

in all times and places,

and I'm content

with what you bring me today.

I'm only human

and I need your help

to share with others

the grace I need from you.

Thank you,

for being my strength

when I am weak,

and my wisdom

when I speak.

Thank you,

for the peace to go forward

and for always being with me.

Amen.

A Prayer of Patience (Psalm 37:7)

Here I am, breathing deep

and slowing myself down.

I am not my own.

Your Heart & Mind:
How is the day taking

shape? How can God

help you going forward?

A Prayer for the Rest of the Day

based on Isaiah 40:31

God, be my strength!
I've got things to do

and work to accomplish.
Help me overcome

every obstacle, fatigue

and frustration.

I rededicate myself

to you and your Way.

Breathe deeply until you are still,

and finish:
Amen.

   - or -

Let it be.
